About the Project 
Welcome to the 2005 HMS Endurance Tracking Project.

HMS Endurance is a Royal Navy Ice Patrol Ship. Through the visitandlearn.co.uk website, we will track the passage of HMS Endurance and provide factfiles about various aspects of the journey - looking in particular at climates, ecosystems and wildlife at locations along the route, with additional material on the work of HMS Endurance and her close links with the British Antarctic Survey.
