Hello, my name is Tony Hall and I am a Book Publisher from Coachhouse Publications who are based in Freshwater on the Isle of Wight.

I should first explain that a Book Publisher is a person who produces and then sells books so I handle the planning, design, layout, printing and distribution of the books but I have someone else to write the words, called the Author, and a Photographer to take the pictures for the books.

I am on HMS ENDURANCE to publish a book on South Georgia which will also raise money for the South Georgia Heritage Trust Fund. I have with me the American author Kevin Schafer, who, luckily for me, is also the photographer.

The book will be all about the Island, with lots of colour photographs showing South Georgia’s wonderful wildlife, its snow capped mountains and rugged scenery. It will be a book for the people who come here on the Cruise Ships to take home with them and show there friends, so that they can also see what a special place South Georgia is.

At the same time as I am producing the book on South Georgia, I am also publishing a book on HMS ENDURANCE which is currently being written by the author Graham Smith. The photographs for this book are going to be taken by the ships own photographer LA(Phot) Matt Ellison who everyone refers to as “Beano”

I hope to have both books ready in time for the ships return to Portsmouth in May as I am sure that everyone aboard HMS ENDURANCE will find them very interesting.
