News - The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers Annual Banquet
On Wednesday 20 October 2004 three members of ENDURANCE Ship’s Company were kindly invited to attend “The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers” Annual Banquet. Lt Cdr Tony Allen, LPT “Yorkie” Tate and LStd “Rachael” Gould, arrived at the very striking Merchant Taylor’s Hall on Threadneedle Street, London, for what turned into a very memorable evening.

The Worshipful Company of Clockmakers have now been affiliated with HMS ENDURANCE for 18 months and most kindly award a tankard at their Annual Banquet to the member of the Ship’s Company that has contributed most to life on board over the previous 12 months. This year’s award was presented to LPT “Yorkie” Tate by the Lord Mayor of the City of London.

The evening was a marvellous occasion to be part of. All three attendees would like to thank the Company for their hospitality and kind words. May the affiliation live long and the Company flourish root and branch.
