A medic on HMS Endurance discovers a 65-hectare island (highest point: 6m) along the Antarctic Peninsula that teems with seabird and penguins.

Polarquest - Royal Navy & Royal Marines North & South Pole Expedition. This trek will aim to be the first service Expedition to the South Pole since 1912 (Capt Scott).
