Fancy Dress BBQ
To mark the end of their nine month deployment, the ship’s company of HMS Endurance held a fancy dress BBQ on their last Saturday night at sea. The quarter deck was hung with flags and a speaker system played tunes out across the ocean. The highlights of the meal were ostrich steaks from South Africa and sticky buns baked by Leading Logs Stead.
Special guest appearances were made by Caesar, The Incredible Hulk, the Ghostbusters chasing two ghosts, and a group of Crusaders. The prize for the best fancy dress went to Leading Logs Brewer who came as Sponge Bob Square Pants.
