HMS Endurance in Antarctica For their 2006/7 deployment, HMS Endurance is proud to be associated with the flagship weather-recording project of The Royal Meteorological Society.

www.MetLink.org is the global weather observation project of the Royal Meteorological Society. The essence of this internet-based project is that participants around the world make and exchange weather observations once a day by means of an on-line database and, with the help of meteorological professionals, analyse and interpret the observations.

The project is for primary and secondary schools (age range 7-19) and for individuals of any age. It supports Geography, Science and/or ICT and will run from 29th January – 9th February.

However simple your weather instruments, you can take part in this project. For further information, click here. (www.metlink.org)
