Turtle Rescue Turtle Rescue
At 0855 hours today keen eyed AB Craig, from his position on the bridge, spotted a turtle on the starboard side. The creature struggling as it had become entangled in a fishing net. It is customary in these waters for fishermen to leave their nets drifting and the unfortunate turtle had obviously not realised the trap when he swam towards it. Nearing exhaustion the turtle was paddling on the surface dragging the heavy net behind it.

Stanley even helps catch some art museum thieves by posing as a painting on the wall! But one special advantage is that Flat Stanley can now visit his friends by being posted in an envelope.

The answer is because they are much better adapted to life in cold places than humans are.
To find out how much better you will have to do some more research but the fact is that if we stood on the ice like a penguin does, we would get severe frost bite.
